The phone's accelerometer picks up each stride, in real time.

Their rhythm tightens as you speed up: walk, trot, gallop.

Hardware pedometer

Your steps, counted

The phone's hardware pedometer gives a reliable daily total. Distance, energy and exhaled CO2 are estimated from it.

Settings: sensitivity, profile, and which readings you choose to show on the home screen.

Nothing leaves your phone

gogonut collects no personal data, opens no network connection and sends nothing anywhere. Your profile (height, weight) and your step count stay on the device.
